CHAOS THEORY 4: JURASSIC WORLD
Start with a Science Centre, below the existing Innovation Centre. Demolish some of the paths to make some nice, straight lines and right angles. You’ll need to reconnect the section of path to the right as it leads up to a Control Centre (which you cannot move).

• Structures > Infrastructure > Ranger and Capture Teams (2/0/3)
• Structures > Infrastructure > Paleo-Medical Facility (2/0/4)
Now research the Facilities and build them. For the Paleo-Medical Facility, you will need to hire a few extra scientists.
Go ahead and build 3 enclosures. To the left of the Innovation Centre will be #1, to the right is #2 and up the top is #3. As you can see from the images, don't worry too much about getting power to each enclosure. You'll be using Small Substations in a moment and it's just a waste to build another Backup Generator.
• Structures > Power > Improved Power Technology (5/0/0)
• Structures > Infrastructure > Staff Centre (3/0/0)
• Structures > Infrastructure > Efficiency Upgrades (5/0/0)
Work through these research items as you go about the dinosaur deliveries which will be covered in a moment. Place a Small Power Station beside the Arrival Point. A Staff Centre can fit to the right of the Science Centre.
For now, put the Staff Centre Speed upgrade on the Staff Centre and Advanced Scanners on the Response Facility.
Now you have a trio of species on the way.
The Ankylosaurus will go into the large enclosure to the left, Enclosure 1. When adjusting the enclosure for their needs, use Tempskya to address Ground Leaf. This will come in handy later on. Also, when you select their landing sites, put them close to the Viewing Gallery.
The Triceratops belongs in Enclosure 2, to the right.
Finally, the Tyrannosaurus Rex goes into Enclosure 3 up the top.
Ensure they are all content with their environments to continue.
Your next objective will be to place an Emergency Shelter and a Restroom (shown in the previous image).
You can now open the park. Select the Arrival Point and choose the option to do so. A short narrative and cutscene will play.
• Structures > Amenities > Improved Amenities (5/0/0)
• Structures > Guest Comfort > Wide Path (3/0/0)
It will take just a moment for the guests to filter in and unlock these research options.
You’ll need to place another Emergency Shelter and Restroom down near the Arrival Point to get the approval up. Build 2 Small Hotels and a set of Small Amenities.
Once the research is done, build a set of Medium Amenities on the main path.
If you manage to get all this built before the next dinosaur arrival, guests may alternate between the amenities and they may lose money for a little. You can disable the Small Amenities if you are worried about it.
Replace any crowded paths with Wide ones.
The next arrival will be some Gallimimus. There will be plenty of room in Enclosure 1 with the Triceratops.
Now build an Expedition Centre to the right of the Staff Centre. Add the Improved Yield Upgrade. Also add the Extraction Capacity upgrade to the Science Centre.
Start to gather the Apatosaurus genome, then the Compsognathus, but there’s more to be done before you’ll release them.
• Structures > Guest Comfort > Monorail (5/0/0)
• Structures > Guest Comfort > Large Hotel (9/0/0)
• Structures > Guest Comfort > Main Thoroughfare (5/0/0)
Squeeze a Monorail Station above the Innovation Centre, to the left.
Run the track up over Enclosure 3 and build a second Monorail Station towards the top-right of the area. Put a second Small Power Station up here to power it. Use Pylons to connect this power station to the existing grid.
Finally, build a Hatchery nearby.
Place a 3rd Monorail Station above Enclosure 1. For now, just connect it to a Viewing Gallery. Run Pylons over and place a Small Substation to power it.
Replace the Small Hotel near Enclosure 3 with a Large one. Your Ranger and MVU vehicles will need to drive past this hotel to get to the area near the third Monorail Station you placed, so leave a gap between this hotel and the Enclosure 3 fence.
Upgrade the paths as required.
Release 2 Apatosaurus into Enclosure 2 with the Ankylosaurus.
Modify their genome to have Long Lived 0% then release a full batch of Compsognathus into Enclosure 3 with the T-rex. Their social minimum is 8, so you need at least that many. Remember to place extra Carnivore Feeders.
Any time you have spare scientists, start developing the genomes for the Carnotaurus and Majungasaurus. They won't be required for a while so only do it when you have people spare, but it gives you something to do with your idle staff. You'll be reminded again later on, but any progress you can make now will speed things up.
Now place a Gyrostation, which becomes available automatically, on the Enclosure 2 fence. By placing the path you will probably destroy much of the dinosaur’s required environment. You can expand the enclosure to the left if need be. Be sure to change the station to '1 vehicle per 50 meters'.
It may take a moment for the spheres to get around the track and get within viewing range of all 5 dinosaurs in the enclosure.
• Structures > Amenities > Advanced Amenities (9/0/0)
This enables you to research then replace the existing Medium Amenities with Large. You will probably have to move other buildings and Pylons around to make room. As long as they are in this central area, it will be fine. You can even re-route the paths if you need to.
This will satisfy the next task.
• Welfare > Dinosaur Creation > Lagoon (4/0/9)
Now the Lagoon will unlock. Conduct the research and place a 5-section Lagoon over to the left above the Monorail Station and Viewing Gallery you built there earlier. Attach a Lagoon Hatchery.
• Structures > Attractions > Viewing Platform (5/0/0)
• Structures > Attractions > Marine Viewing Gallery (10/0/0)
Place a single Marine Viewing Gallery overlooking the lagoon. Add another Viewing Gallery and a couple of Viewing Platforms to provide coverage over the entire lagoon. Place an Emergency Shelter, Restroom and another Large Hotel over here too.
Yes, Marine Viewing Galleries are cool, but they are incredibly expense to research. In the challenges, you'll be using regular Viewing Galleries as shown here; they do the job just as well and won't break the bank!
• Species > Marine Reptiles > Mosasaurus (3/9/0)
Everything about the Mosasaurus takes a long time. Thankfully, you only need to reach 50% of the genome, which should be accomplished with just one visit to a dig site. There is no need to waste time developing the genome any higher.
The Mosasaurus is listed with Needy 50%. You should be okay even if it manifests. Rather than being 100% content, the reptile will only be around 91%. As long as it's listed as 'Perfect' under the Comfort tile when you select the reptile, you'll be okay. You could save-scum or just attach another section to the Lagoon if you want it to have 100% comfort.
Develop the Mosasaurus genome to over 50% and release just 1 into the lagoon. This act comes with it's own achievement.

Released a Mosasaurus

Add another Small Power Station by the lagoon. You can now add a set of Large Amenities too.
With 2 sets of Large Amenities now in the Park, you can demolish those Small Amenities back near the Arrival Point.
It's a good idea to go 'off script' now. The Velociraptors, which are the next required dinosaur, cause problems during storms. You're going to get everything else set up as much as possible before you release them.
If you didn't before, gather the Carnotaurus and Majungasaurus genomes and while you go about it build Enclosures 4 and 5 up at the Hatchery. Also place a second Response Facility and Paleo-Medical Facility, assigned to the new enclosures.
Release around 6-8 Carnotaurus into Enclosure 4, which is in front of the Hatchery. Also release at least a pair of Majungasarus.
Build a Gyrostation and loop the path around both Enclosures 4 and 5. Remember that the path will take away from the terrain that the dinosaurs require, so double check on their comfort. Set the Gyrostation to run at 1 vehicle per 50 metres. Put a couple of Viewing Galleries and Platforms if you want but it shoudn't be necessary.
Add a set of Large Amenities once there are some dinosaurs to see and they should be profitable right away.
Send the Expedition Team to collect the Giganotosaurus and extract the genome. It only needs to reach 25% for a future task, but make sure it's over 50% as you'll be releasing one. Do the same for the Tyrannosaurus Rex, also just so it's over 50%.
Build Enclosure 6, as shown above, below #5. Release a single Giganotosaurus into the new enclosure.
Next you need to research some fencing.
• Welfare > Enclosures > Medium Electrified Fence (3/0/0)
• Welfare > Enclosures > Large Electrified Fence (5/0/0)
• Welfare > Enclosures > Heavy Fence (9/0/0)
Don't bother replacing any fences. While the 'Raptor's are scripted to cause problems during storms regardless, you're likely to have a twister ruin your fence-line anyway.
If a storm does hit after you've release them, immediately pause and task your Capture Team to tranquiilise the 'Raptors immediately as fast as you can. With luck, they should sleep through the storm without causing any problems at all.
Everything is set up. To make sure you're ready, check your scientists' skills, particularly Genetics. You'll need 18 with 4 staff for the final dinosaur.
• Structures > Infrastructure > Extra Scientist (9/0/0) optional
If you are struggling to reach the 18 Genetics required with the staff you have, conduct the optional research and put the Extra Scientist upgrade on the Science Centre. Synthesis takes 15 Genetics and Incubation 15 Welfare.
Now you can finally get back on track. To progress the mission develop the Velociraptor and release 4 into Enclosure 5.
Thanks to the hard work you've already completed, you will skip past a requirement to increase several dinosaur genomes (Carnotaurus 25%, Giganotosaurus 25%, Tyrannosaurus Rex 50% and Velociraptor 25%, for reference) and researching those fences.
• Species > Carnivores > Hybrids 1 (5/18/0) 4 scientists
Because this is a man-made dinosaur, the genome will be at 100% once the research is complete. Release a single Indominus Rex into Enclosure 5 with the Velociraptors. With the dinosaurs already in the Park, you'll take home 2 achievements:
- This is a Modern Prehistoric Marvel
Bioengineered either of the following Hybrids: Indominus Rex, Indoraptor
2 guides
- Jurassic Showdown
Released the following dinosaurs on a single map: Raptor, T. rex, Indominus Rex

As you have pre-empted some tasks (the main ones being 12 unique species and a 5-Star Rating), the final goals will be met and you will complete the mission. Placing the high-appeal Indominus Rex will shift the guests and can play havoc on their contentment levels. Check Shelter and Restroom happiness if you don't pass 5-Stars immediately.

Once again, stick around so you can complete a few research items to get another Database entry out of the way.
• Species > Medium And Large Herbivores > Sauropods 2 (2/9/0)
• Species > Medium And Large Herbivores > Sauropods 3 (3/12/0)
That's all you need here, but don't forget to make a save just in case. Let's wrap up this game mode in Chaos Theory 5!
