Starting Out:
When you start foraging you probably start using a jungle axe, well if you add efficiency five and telekinesis one to a golden axe then drink a haste three potion you can forage way faster. To get efficiency five you first need to buy a decent pickaxe that can mine iron, then you travel to the gold mine, or the deep caverns and mine iron until you unlock the recipe for efficiency books. Once you get the recipe for efficiency books you need to craft 2 of them using 48 paper, which you can buy from the hub, and 16 iron which shouldn't be too hard to mine. Then you could ask someone to enchant your axe with efficiency five. Next, you put telekinesis on it, And now you have a good axe. But you still cant insta-mine logs, so you need haste 3 potions, which is almost always under 200 coins on the auction house. And then you just mine wood for hours straight.
Things You Can do With the Wood You Get:
If you forage for oak you will probably get at least one stack of enchanted wood per hour, which you can use for minion storages(which are very useful), oak minion, and the wood affinity talisman. If you forage for spruce, you will make the most money out of all the wood types, that is if you get a lobby all to yourself to forage. The reason that spruce sells for the most is because of the legendary wolf pet which sells for about 4.5million coins on the auction house. You can make the legendary wolf pet with 8 stacks of enchanted spruce wood, and a super enchanted egg, the chances of getting a legendary wolf pet are 1/4 or 25%. If you don't want to gamble for the legendary wolf pet you could also sell it to bazaar for 135,000 coins per stack of enchanted spruce wood. If you grind jungle you probably make around 2 stacks per hour if you have a lobby all to yourself. If you grind jungle wood you can use it to make the ocelot pet which helps a lot with foraging experience. The epic ocelot pet is actually better than the legendary version because of the fact that its easier to get and is easier to get the foraging experience buff. You get the Epic ocelot pet by using 8 stacks of enchanted jungle wood and a super enchanted egg which you can get from the auction house for about 400k coins. The epic ocelot has a 75% chance of being epic when you craft it. The epic ocelot pet can give up to 30% more foraging experience when level 100, and 40 more speed when level 100. One other thing you can do is craft the enchanted jungle wood into jungle axes and sell them onto the auction house which is what people used to do and doesn't make any money anymore. If you forage for dark oak which is tied with jungle for giving the most wood per hour you are going to probably get 2 stacks of enchanted wood per hour. Dark oak is also debated for making the most money. One thing you can do with dark oak is sell it to bazaar which makes a lot of money, you could also craft it into growth five which you can put on your armor. You could also craft it into a full growth set which is used for mastiff armor. Another wood is acacia but almost nobody grinds acacia, the only time you would grind acacia is if you were grinding for the tactician's sword. Not many people grind birch since its only use is pretty much the wood cutting crystal, which is used for foraging minions which aren't that fast and make pretty much no money.
Tactician's Sword, and Wooden Singularity:
The Tactician's sword is a rare sword that you can get from foraging. It has 200 base damage after you have all of your combat collections to tier 7 or above. The tactician's sword also has a 20% base crit chance. The tactician's sword can be obtained by buying it from the master tactician npc in the acacia area at the foraging islands for 35,000 coins. The wooden singularity can also be bought from the master tactician. The wooden singularity is an upgrade that u can add to all wooden swords in the game but was probably meant for the tactician's sword because they are sold from the same npc. You get the wooden singularity with 1.5million coins and 5 stacks of every enchanted type of wood which takes about 12 hours to get. The wooden singularity adds 100 strength to a wooden sword and can only be applied once.
Treecapitator:
The treecapitator is currently the best axe for foraging in hypixel skyblock. It is a combination between the jungle axe and a golden axe, so with efficiency 5 telekinesis 1 on it you can insta mine wood and have the effects of the jungle axe which was the second-best way of getting wood before the treecapitator. The treecapitator costs about 5million coins or you could also put down minions for like 4 days. It is crafted with a jungle axe and 8 stacks of enchanted obsidian.
Melody:
Melody is an npc which is used to get an epic talisman in the acacia area of the floating islands. Melody's hair is the epic talisman you get after completing melody's quest, it takes about 3 hours to get maybe less depending on skill and the amount of lag. To get the talisman you need to complete 11 songs. There is one extra song that you could complete called "into the campfire" which is not required for the talisman. Every song gives a certain amount of intelligence. The harp near melody is used to play all of the songs, only one person can use it at a time.
Fishing Pond:
In the birch area, there is a pond where you can fish. Near the pond, there is an npc called Venessa, which you can use to make it rain, which is used for fishing because when its raining you fish faster. One minute of rain is 5k coins, Venessa also shows how many coins the skyblock community has spent on rain.
Gustave:
Gustave is an npc in the spruce area, that you can race to get certain rewards. You race from the spruce area to a place in the jungle area.
Viking Npc:
The Viking npc is in the spruce area and sells experience 4, and other useless stuff. The Viking npc glitches sometimes and you can't get into it.
Campfire Trial:
The campfire trial is a quest you can do to get a legendary talisman. The leader of the campfire cult is Ryan which is a reference to The Office. The campfire quest gets more hard the further you get into it, and eventually asks for lots of enchanted wood.
Romero & Juliet:
Romero is a simp which is also an npc. Juliet is also an npc. Romero asks for way to much useless expensive stuff that you have to get for the quest totaling up to 10million coins. Keep in mind HE IS A SIMP
